I'm 5 ft and started Alli at 126 and after 4 weeks have lost 6 pounds. I've been very faithful to the calorie intake of about 1000 calories but am having a very hard time getting even 12 g of fat a day. Everything is fat-free or low fat now days. Am I suppose to buy whole milk instead of skim...? Help.

Thanks Stephani I started writing down everything I eat and most days I'm close to the 1000 calories. I recently bought some breakfast drinks and that should help me hit the calorie mark. It's hard, I'm just not a big eater. I know it's important and will try extra hard to up the calories. LJ

I very proud of myself. I lost 3 lbs the first week! I'm not terribly overweight so 3 lbs is huge and unexpected. I think taking the Alli pills keeps me wanting to not "cheat"!!! This has been the easiest diet I've ever done. I'm simply changing the way I look at food. There's so much low fat or no fat food available that all I really have to watch is calories! 11 more pounds and I reach my all time low!!! Here I come. littlema

Hi Dresssize I am a teacher as well, 6th grade. I would love to lose the 10 lbs. I've gained the last two years. I'm 46, 5ft tall, and weigh 126lbs. I started Alli 5 days ago. I'm concerned because I already eat low fat so that is not much of a change. I'm staying betwen 800-1000 calories but am not sure that will be low enough for me to lose weight. Anybody have a suggestion on how many calories I should try? I'm only eating about 10 -12 gr of fat a day so am not sure that Alli

You can count me in too! At 5 ft, 46, 126 lbs. my goal is 112 lbs. Ten pounds would get me back to where I was just a year ago!! I started Alli 3 days ago.

I've been taking my ALli regardless of the number of fats consumed. Is this just a waste? Both my breakfast and lunch are often under 5 fats. My daily calorie intake is between 800-1000. I just started less than a week ago. No weight off yet. I have 6 pounds to lose so I know it will take a little more time. lj

10 lbs overweight

I'd love to partner up with someone who has a "few" pounds to lose. I'm 5ft tall, 46, and weigh 126 lbs. My Alli goal is 120 but my personal goal is 112. I gained 10 lbs this last year. I started my diet a week ago and Alli 3 days ago. No loss yet. Anyone out there interested in helping me? I try to walk 30 minutes a day. TRY! Give me a shout if you're in a similar situation.
